“Over the waves” tells the story of two women, Rocío Aldama and Gloria Zamora, whose lives are defined by fame and ambition. Rocío, the personification of Sara Montiel, seeks success from Madrid to Oaxaca, facing the challenges that this entails. Gloria, on the other hand, is driven by her desire for power and money, becoming corrupted by greed.  The film explores how these forces change people and lead them to make extreme decisions.
